fellowship of christian athletes
CENTRAL ILLINOIS
Some of the most influential seasons in the life of a student occur within the avenue of sport. We believe that the local Fellowship of Christian Athletes does an excellent job sharing Jesus with students, coaches, and families in our community. We support the ministry of FCA whose mission is "to present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church." Our church financially supports the local FCA and many of our members do as well. For questions regarding how you can assist the Central Illinois FCA, please contact Doug Pollock.

We support The Gideons International financially, and several men from the church serve the Gideons locally by passing out New Testaments and witnessing for Christ at schools and universities.

Matt & Nadia Lohse
Wheaton, IL (Chicagoland)
Jesus transformed Matt's life through the influence of a high school christian club, and ever since then, God has challenged him to shine the love and light of Jesus to high school students. Following this call, Matt jumped into the education field after graduating from Wheaton College and served as a public high school science teacher for 6 years. During that time, he faithfully served as both the advisor and mentor for the Christian club at his school, equipping his club leaders to share the love of Christ.
Now, God has called him to take his next "leap of faith" into full time ministry, and Matt's prayer is that the Lord would use this new role to help spread the hope of Jesus to many more schools in the Chicagoland area. The mission of the National School Project is to coach public middle school and high school Christian club students to be effective gospel witnesses on their school campuses. Matt equips these students and empowers them to use their clubs as a platform to organize gospel outreach events on their school campuses. -
washington street mission
Springfield, IL
You might find yourself wondering how you can help those in need within the Springfield community. We believe the Washington Street Mission does a great job fulfilling its stated mission "to share the love of Jesus with the people of Springfield by providing opportunities to meet their spiritual and physical needs." Several members of our church volunteer regularly at the mission, and our church financially supports the mission as well.
